
The Reverend Doctor Earle H. Ifill was born in Barbados, West Indies where he received his early education. He graduated from Wilberforce University, Wilberforce, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree (Cum Laude) in Business Administration. He received a Master of Divinity (M. Div.)degree from Boston University School of Theology, Boston, Massachusetts. He is the recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Ministry Degree from Jackson Theological Seminary, Little Rock, Arkansas.
He served as an assistant Pastor in Springfield and Cambridge, Massachusetts. He pastored churches in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tifton, Waycross and Atlanta, Georgia. He served as the Presiding Elder of the Atlanta District for three years and presently serves as the Presiding Elder of the Attanta East District.
Reverend Ifill is a member of the Atlanta North-Georgia Annual Conference of the Sixth Episcopal District of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He was a delegate to the Forty -Sixth Session of the General Conference, served as on the Revision Committee, and is a member of the General Conference Commission. He served as workshop lecturer at the Lay Organization Biennial Conventions, the Department of Salary Supplement Stewardship Conferences, has served in many different positions and capacities in churches throughout the Connection.
Rev. Dr. Ifill is a Life Member of the Wilberforce University Alumni Association. He serves as chairperson of the Relations Committee and is a member of the Constitution Committee. He is a member of the President's Club and an elected member of the Wilberforce University Alumni Association Board of Directors serving as Chaplain.
